Learn to fit, sew and finish your clothes successfully or build on the sewing skills you already have (even if you are feeling out of practice). Create your own individual wardrobe using a pattern and fabric of your choice.

Morning or Afternoon classes

‘All Levels Beginners to Experienced’

Sew your own garments using entry level commercial patterns while being guided every step of the way. We will give you a list, and meet you at Spotlight to help choose fabric prior to start of class, No previous experience required, machine training provided.

Modules to include

  * Draw string trousers.

  * Skirt (with facings, darts and invisible zip).

  * Knit top.

  * Relaxed fit summer Dress with in seam pocket.

  * Shirt with collar and set in sleeves.

  * Unlined Jacket with shawl collar.

  * Bomber jacket with open end zip.

  * Shell top with bust dart.

  * Fly Front trousers with pockets.

These modules are completed at our own pace!

A fully lined, tailored jacket or coat of your choice (within criteria provided) will be completed during the course using a combination of traditional and modern techniques.
